Terms of sale

Custom parts need
clear approval.

These terms apply to quotes, proofs, checkout orders, uploaded drawings, conversions, and custom gaskets ordered through CutMyGasket.com.

Effective July 19, 2026.

Estimates and quotes

Final checkout pricing is calculated on the server and shown in Stripe before payment. A separate reviewed quote may differ from a browser estimate before payment when a requested production exception or service outside the online catalog is needed.

Proof approval

Every submitted order or quote receives a digital proof. Approval applies only to the exact current revision and confirms the displayed outside contour, every internal cutout, dimensions, scale, material, thickness, quantity, part name, and notes. A prior approval does not authorize a revised file. Production requires cleared payment and approval of the current proof.

Buyer engineering responsibility

The buyer is responsible for material selection and the gasket’s suitability for fluid, gas, pressure, vacuum, temperature, flange material, surface finish, bolt load, torque, fire, electrical, food, medical, code, regulatory, and safety requirements. Website guidance is not an engineering certification or warranty of fitness for a particular application.

Drawings and conversions

The buyer confirms it has authority to provide each drawing or image. Raster tracing, PDF interpretation, AI/EPS conversion, and scale reconstruction can introduce ambiguity; the final proof must be checked against an independent known dimension. Browser preview SVGs are not production files. Production geometry is generated and validated separately.

Materials

Online checkout is available for the materials and thicknesses shown in the designer. Material availability can change, and we may contact the buyer before production if a selected option is unavailable or if the order includes a request outside the online catalog. The buyer remains responsible for confirming that the selected material is suitable for the intended application.

Custom products, changes, and cancellations

Because every gasket is custom, it is not returnable solely because it no longer fits the buyer’s needs or the buyer chose an unsuitable material. Changes and cancellations must be requested before production begins. Once cutting, setup, or special material procurement starts, the order may not be cancelable. Approved captured-payment cancellations are refunded to the original payment method; bank timing is outside our control.

Tolerances

Nominal drawings are subject to material movement, compression, thermal effects, kerf calibration, measurement method, and process tolerance. Any critical tolerance must be identified before approval and accepted in writing. Do not assume precision beyond the approved quote or drawing.

Warranty and liability

We warrant that shipped parts will materially match the approved proof, material identity, thickness, and quantity subject to stated tolerances. Report an apparent manufacturing error promptly with the order number, measurements, photos, and packaging. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the affected custom parts and excludes installation, labor, downtime, consequential damage, and application failure.
